Spanish brand Panama is launching the P10E, its first-ever plug-in hybrid campervan, which is ULEZ-compliant and has an electric-only range of 32 miles.
Those on the lookout for the best campervan are likely to be thinking about attending the October NEC Show to see the latest releases, and the P10E is set to be on display on the Marquis Leisure stand.
Based on the Ford Tourneo Custom Active, the Panama P10E has a 2.5-litre 230hp petrol engine and a 13kW plug-in hybrid battery, which offers 11.8kW of usable power.
With an MTPLM of 3245kg and a payload of 465kg, the camper only comes to 5.04m, yet it still comes with plenty of features. This includes a pop-up roof bed, a kitchenette with an induction hob, a fridge/freezer and a sink, rear bench seats which have ISOFIX points and can be made into a double bed, and both a 90Ah leisure battery and a Pro Power Onboard inverter.
The ‘van also comes with a Porta Potti, which is housed in a dedicated storage compartment.
The campervan provides plenty of features to help owners enjoy a comfortable experience on the road as well, including dual-zone air conditioning, a fixed rear-view camera, and plenty of driver assistance technology such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keeping Aid & Driver Alerts, and both Blind Spot Assist & Speed Sign Recognition.
OTR prices start from £79,995. If you are planning to visit the October NEC Show to see the latest releases, don’t miss our Motorhome and Caravan Show discount code, where you could get your ticket for only £13.50, either.
Panama is not the only brand to be sharing information about new releases, with Auto-Trail expanding its Expedition range of campervans. The new range features three new models, a revised layout and an updated spec.
