Chausson has widened its chassis options for 2026, with the results on display at the NEC Show

Chausson is widening the chassis options you can have with its vans this season – as a quick look around the French company’s stand at the Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC this week will show you.

The Trigano Group company has been well known in the past for offering a wide range of its models on either a Fiat Ducato or Ford Transit chassis. Such flexibility was toned down at the start of this decade, particularly when Fiat’s owner Stellantis had supply issue problems.

But those issues seem now to have been largely resolved, and at this show you can see the 798 Ultimate Line on a Fiat, which is one for fans of island bed motorhomes.

The 798 Ultimate Line is a 7.36m motorhome with a width of 2.35m and a starting price of £71,990.

Inside, it includes a front lounge with face-to-face seating, while a central washroom, which can be partitioned off, can also be found.

At the rear, an island bed is located. It comes with an MTPLM of 3500kg, a MiRO of 3143kg and four motorhome seatbelts.

Also check out the S614 Sport Line. Like its sister van, the S514 (see our review of the 2023 Sport Line S514 for an idea of what it is like), this features a “butterfly bed” you can fold up at the rear to provide more garage storage space. But this season, the Ford-based van also includes an optional hideaway bed over the front parallel settee lounge.

Another model on the stand was the 627 Titanium Line, which could appeal to fans of a motorhome with fixed single beds at the rear.
