Named the best adults only site in our Top 100 Sites guide 2026, Longbeech Campsite is a peaceful camping spot tucked into ancient beechwoods near Fritham in the New Forest National Park, where open clearings and roaming ponies create a truly natural setting in which to unwind.
There are no toilets or showers, so you need to bring your own chemical toilet, but there are drinking-water taps and a chemical disposal point.
Grass pitches welcome tents, caravans and motorhomes, and dogs are allowed. The site has easy access to waymarked forest trails for walking and cycling.

It was quite the performance from Old Oaks in our Top 100 Sites Guide 2026. The Somerset-based site not only took the ultimate accolade of being named the Overall Winner, as well as our Regional Winner for Somerset, Avon & Wiltshire, but it also took the title of the Best Site for Washrooms.
Only a short drive from Glastonbury, the campsite is found in a beautiful countryside setting, and offers both the relaxing environment and privacy motorhomers could want, with plantings found between pitches.
The campsite’s facilities include free Wi-Fi, two laundries, two EV charging points, an on-site shop, and individual private washrooms, as well as fire pits, which either come with premier pitches or can be hired for those on other types of pitches. Motorhomers can have a break from cooking too, thanks to the hot food which is available throughout the week.
Stay on-site and enjoy fishing in a half-acre coarse fishing lake (a rod licence is required), or head to the tourist information room, where a darts table, a 42-inch TV and a pool table can be found. Alternatively, explore the surrounding area, including the Mendip Hills, Bath, Longleat, Glastonbury Tor, and the Somerset Levels.

Sitting in mid-Wales, Red Kite took the Regional Winner’s title in our Top 100 Sites Guide 2026, with the adults-only site providing spacious, fully serviced pitches which are set across south-facing tiers and provide views of the surrounding area.
The well-appointed amenity block offers toilets, showers, a washing-up area, a laundrette and an indoor Elsan point, while an on-site shop is stocked with locally sourced treats and essentials.
For those who are touring with a canine, there is a 10-acre dog walking area – you can avoid getting any muddy prints in your ‘van, too, thanks to a dog wash.
Take in the scenic walks and cycling trails, stroll to the quaint market town of Llanidloes, or stay on-site and enjoy a spot of angling in the coarse-fishing lake.

Formerly known as Two Hoots Glamping, Caravan Park and Campsite, Hampshire Hills has been designed with the emphasis on creating a quiet retreat and was a destination that took the Best Small Site title in our Top 100 Sites Guide 2026. It doesn’t allow dogs either, instead focusing on ensuring guests can relax in tranquillity.
It is an adults-only location set on a gated hilltop with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the South Downs. The site offers a range of accommodation, including luxury glamping tents, pods, and grass pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes, with both electric and non-electric options.
There is easy access to walking and cycling routes and attractions such as Winchester and the Watercress Line.

Despite being only five miles from Carlisle, the site is found in a rolling countryside and woodland setting. Head to the North Pennines, explore the beautiful Lake District, or visit Carlisle itself, where a castle and cathedral can be explored. Alternatively, stay at Green Acres and make the most of the games room and sports hall, which offers table tennis, badminton courts, pool, and board games.
For those who are motorhoming with a dog, there is a dedicated woodland dog walk and exercise area, too.
The park itself provides an award-winning facilities block, where you can find luxurious wet rooms which all come with underfloor heating. From Green Acre’s spacious hardstanding pitches, motorhomers can enjoy picturesque views as well.

Each pitch not only comes with 16-amp electric hook-up and a personal tap, but also has a lakeside view.
Facilities include a heated toilet and shower block, a washing-up area, a dog shower, a laundrette, and a dog exercise area.

Located in Melton Mowbray, Eye Kettleby Lakes is an adults-only campsite that is set in 150 acres of stunning countryside, but it is worth highlighting that families are able to stay in the log cabins.
It manages to combine great fishing with excellent facilities, as you would expect from one of the best adults only motorhome sites.
The angling can be enjoyed in one of the nine lakes, including two specimen carp lakes, six mixed coarse fishing lakes and one which is for lodge members only.
Explore Rutland Water, Melton Country Park, Melton Mowbray, Nottingham or Leicester, or visit one of the number of canine-friendly pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. Alternatively, relax at The Lakes Bar and Tea Room, where live music nights are held throughout the year.
Site amenities include individual bathrooms, a reception with a shop, two enclosed dog exercise areas, and an enclosed dog exercise area.
As it’s open all year, it could be a contender for those who enjoy winter motorhoming.

Anyone who is familiar with our Top 100 Sites Guides will doubtless recognise Back of Beyond Touring Park, an adults-only motorhome site in Dorset, which can be found in 30 acres of beautiful countryside.
While there, visitors can explore the stunning New Forest National Park, Ringwood and Wimborne Minster, or wander through the 18 acres of woodland found on-site. Alternatively, head further afield and take in some of Dorset’s well-known spots, such as Bournemouth, Southampton, Poole, and Christchurch.
Site facilities include a reception ship which offers local produce, while catering trucks will stop by for those who want a break from cooking.
Back of Beyond also operates a licensed bar, with other amenities including a laundry room, washing up areas, and a dog wash.
For the upcoming touring season, more of the pitches are now fully serviced too.

Located on the banks of the River Tamar, this relaxed campsite lets guests experience a peaceful setting from which both Devon and Cornwall can be explored, with destinations to visit including Dartmoor, Port Isaac, Looe, and Bodmin Moor.
With only five touring pitches available, Poole Farm should certainly provide plenty of tranquillity, with each of the Certificated Location’s pitches both hardstanding and fully serviced.
While there, you can head to the dog walk and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding area from the swing seat; be sure to keep your eyes peeled for otters or kingfishers.

Hallsdown Farm is the ideal spot to head to if you not only want an adults-only stay but also one where dogs are not permitted.
The Devon-based site will allow guests to explore the stunning beauty of the South West Coast Path and the picturesque beaches the county is so renowned for, including Croyde and Woolacombe.
Onsite, the pitches are spacious and come with 16A electric hook-up and an individual water tap. Free WiFi is also available. Guests can opt for premium pitches too, where a private ensuite toilet and shower are provided. There is also a farm shop in the area.
