Uber-luxury brand Niesmann+Bischoff is back at the Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC this week, with its flagship Flair 920 model taking pride of place on the stand.
Niesmann + Bischoff are known for making some of the best luxury motorhomes, and the Flair 920, which is based on an Iveco Daily comes with a 3.0-litre 180hp engine as standard. Red accents and a red bumper add to the silver grey exterior and large black tinted windows.
If you’re after the best motorhome with a garage, this could be a contender, as it comes with a huge garage, there are two extra storage lockers each featuring pull-out storage baskets.
Inside you get a parallel settee front lounge, a huge central washroom with concrete-effect and two large single beds at the back.
You would need to make sure you have the right driving licence to drive the motorhome, however. With an MTPLM of 7200kg, the vehicle will still only be able to be driven by people with a C1 licence even if the UK government falls into line with Europe and raised the limit for B licence holders to 4250kg.
With the model on display having a starting price of £208,800, it is also likely to be only of interest to those with large wallets or dreamers.
The company, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, is also showing the updated iSmove 7.3F (which can have MTPLM of 3500kg). This can now have a lithium battery capacity of 600Ah, with 660W of solar panels and a 3000VA inverter making it ideal for off-grid motorhoming.
There have been plenty of releases at the NEC this week, including on the Bailey stand. The Bristol manufacturer has its new Ascent coachbuilt line-up on display, with all five models from the range on show.
Ace has also had its new Ford Transit-based Supreme models on its stand. The four coachbuilts come in a range of layouts and three of the four ‘vans are available as either a two berth or a four berth.
