Caravan Salon is widening its outlook this year to include a special area in two halls dedicated to off-road touring and, for the first time ever, a section dedicated to roof tents.
This year’s edition of the world’s biggest leisure vehicle show, running at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre or Messe from 28th August to 6th September, will be its 65th.
The Düsseldorf show is a great opportunity to see new season releases, with one of the highlights seen at the 2025 edition including the Rapido V62, a model we subsequently named a highly commended contender in our best value campervan category at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2026.
This year, the show will run with the motto “Caravan Salon opens up new worlds”. which the organisers say is meant to highlight how diverse mobile travel is today, and there wil also be a chance to buy those must-have motorhome upgrades that can make a real difference to any touring experience.
Among the 15 halls that make up the show, Halls 16 and 17 will have a special area for off-road vehicles and other “presentations for particularly self-sufficient travel”. The new roof tent section will be in Hall 7a.
Other themes continuing from previous years include Equipment & Outdoor (Hall 3), Travel & Nature (Hall 7) and Technology and Components (Halls 13 and 14).
Caravan Salon director Stefan Koschke said, “We don’t just showcase products. In our exhibition halls, visitors can experience caravanning in all its diversity: vehicles, technology and accessories, as well as travel destinations, campsites and parking spaces.”
Tickets for the show go on sale on 11 June on the show’s website. One-day tickets cost €20 per adult on weekends, €18 on weekdays, while concessions get in for €18 on weekends and €16 on weekdays. The 28th August is a preview day, where a limited number of tickets are available for €39 or €35 for concessions. Children aged six to 12 cost €6 any day.
In other recent industry news, Bürstner has recently announced it will stop producing caravans so it can focus solely on campervan and motorhome production. The German brand has said it will stop production “until further notice” at the start of the 2027 season.
