As you may already know, the Prime Big Deal Days event is upon us (6-7 October) and it gives motorhome and campervan owners the chance to stock up on those tour-enhancing accessories and gadgets that can make a real difference to a trip.
The sale can be a bit daunting to navigate, so I’ve been browsing the deals to see what products I can find that would be worth packing in a motorhome. You can see the five items that I think every motorhomer would want to know about, but here, I’m sharing the accessories that have caught my eye and that I think could make a difference to a motorhome tour – and they’re all on offer for under £20.

UGreen USB C 5-in-1 hub was £12.99 now £7.99 – save 38%
Even with caravan manufacturers adding ever more USB C ports to their vehicles, these days you often seem to have so many devices needing recharging that you can never get enough of them. And some of them may not be equipped with USB C plugs anyway. This little adapter should give you a bit more breathing space. While taking up just one USB C port it provides you with two USB ports, a further USB C port, and and HDMI port as well if you have brought a larger item along with you.
A head torch is always as useful accessory to take with you when you are on the move, because it frees up both your hands to get on with the jobs in hand. This rechargeable model has a powerful 2000-lumen brightness, and has eight different modes covering varieties of white light and red light. The headlamp can also be adjusted by 45 degrees, if you need to focus up or down on something.
LE Rechargeable camping light – was £25.98 now £18.94 – save 27%
This LED portable lantern could be a valuable addition to your awning. It provides 1000 lumen of brightness, roughly equivalent to a 75W halogen bulb, is recharged via a USB cable and can be hung from the roof as well as positioned on a table. It is also dimmable, comes with four different lighting modes, and is water resistant so you could even take it with you to reach a dark toilet block.
Regatta Pack-It III Womens Jacket – save up to 52%
Not every size and colour is on offer, but this Regatta waterproof jacket is made with a Isolite 10000 fabric and has the added benefit of a high breathability rating. We particularly like that it comes with its own little bag to be carried in, making it convenient to put in a backpack if you’re heading out for the day and are unsure of the weather conditions.
Foldable Hanging Bin was £15.99 now £13.49 (save 16%)
This was one of the top picks of Practical Motorhome’s editor, Sarah. It works well in a motorhome where space can be tight, and just sits over the door of a locker or can be stuck to the wall with the supplied adhesive hook to ensure you have a convenient place to deposit food waste while cooking. We also like how it can be collapsed inwards when you’ve finished with it, so it can be easily stowed too.
